2007 Daylight Saving Time (DST)

All of IEI's access systems are compatible with the new 2007 daylight savings time format.  Older systems may require some action to ensure they are compliant.  Here are details on compatiblity with DST 2007 for all of our systems past and present.

Pre 2007 Systems:
IEI has made all necessary firmware changes so that our products are compatible with the new 2007 daylight saving time format.  Listed are the date codes for each product that reflect the updated DST 2007 compliant firmware.  The products listed will automatically follow the new format requiring no additional effort from our customers.

HubMaxII – 1107

Hub MiniMax II – 1107

Prox.pad plus – 1207

LS2 & LS2P - 1107

The date code format is week/year (WWYY).   The date code label is found on the main micro-processor chip located on each products circuit board.  If your products have a date code prior to those listed above, please read the following to accomodate the new 2007 DST format.


During 2007 Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the United States and Canada will commence three weeks earlier than in past years, and will end one week later. DST will begin 2:00 A.M. on March 11 and will end 2:00 A.M. on November 4.

The change in Daylight Saving Time directly affects all IEI products that use time scheduled access control and transaction event recording. You will be required to take steps to accommodate the new DST legislation.
