ISO 9001 2000IEI has made a corporate and strategic commitment to Quality. The vehicle chosen to drive this initiative throughout the organization on a formalized basis was the ISO Certification system, in standard use today throughout the world marketplace. Highlights include:
- In 1998, IEI was awarded initial ISO-9001certification for Quality Management Systems, meaning that IEI has “established, documented, implemented, maintains, and continually improves the effectiveness of its Quality Management System.” This certification is subject to an annual audit by an independent third party auditing body, which IEI has successfully passed 6 straight years.
- In January, 2004, IEI achieved ISO-9001: 2000 certification, which simply added a Customer Satisfaction component, which requires IEI to detail and measure Customer Satisfaction for both products and services at IEI.
